Each Auto Value Certified Service Center adheres to a specific Code of Ethics to provide the utmost in customer service through their business principles. Work performed at an Auto Value Certified Service Center is covered with the limited parts and labor warranty of the Confidence Plus® North American Warranty.

Code of Ethics

Each Certified Service Center subscribes to these business practices:

  • Perform high-quality repair at a fair price

  • Give the customer a price estimate for work to be performed

  • Use only proven high-quality merchandise

  • Employ the best skilled technicians obtainable

  • Furnish an itemized invoice and offer an inspection for replaced parts upon request

  • Have a sense of personal obligation to each individual customer

  • Recommend corrective and maintenance services, explaining to the customer which are required to correct existing problems and which are for preventative maintenance

  • Furnish or post copies of any warranties covering parts or services

  • Obtain prior authorization for all work done, in writing, or by other means satisfactory to the customer

  • Follow state regulations

  • Notify the customer if appointments or completion promises cannot be kept

  • Exercise reasonable care for the customer's property while in possession of the service center

  • Maintain a system for fair settlement of customer concerns

All repairs and service are performed at a preferred shop and are backed by this warranty, giving customers assurance at home and on the road. If an issue arises, the customer can return to the shop where the repair was done. If they’re far from home, the warranty work can be done at any of the 20,000 preferred service center partners across North America.
